We had a great time together on Sunday Jan. 22nd as we Celebrated God’s Faithfulness.  Our morning service included Victor and Lori Selemani, our missionaries to Mozambique, sharing about their ministry and Victor brought a message out of John 17:1-5 challenging us to Share The Good News of Jesus each and every day.
We voted on the proposed Budget for 2017 and on two Deacon positions; Jason Brown and Steve Groseth.  The budget and both Deacons were approved.

The highlight of the meeting was during the Building Fund report.  Brian Fite shared:  “Building Update On January 1, 2017, there was $321.54 left on the facility to completely pay it off.   Now it has been paid off so CBC is debt free. We’d like to take this moment to burn the promissory note drafted on January 4 of 2015. Burning of the Promissory Note.”  

So we burned the Promissory Note and CBC is Debt Free!!!  

Praise the Lord!!!

Craig Bryan will be leading kid’s Sunday school this year! It will be for ages 3 through 6th grade. We need helpers as we hope to split the kiddos into three age groups for the lesson. Please contact one of the C.E. members or Craig if you are willing to help! (Nursery will be provided during the Sunday School hour.)

There is a meeting for AWANA and Cubbies leaders, helpers, subs… really anyone involved! It is September 9th at 7 pm at Calvary Baptist Church.

No Sunday School on Easter Sunday, April 5th.

Middle of the Month Missions will meet again on Friday, March 13th  at 7:00 pm. Join us once a month as we watch a powerful video series titled“Dispatches from the Front”. Through the eyes of narrator, Tim Keesee, you will get a glimpse into the life of missionaries around the world. During the month of March, Keesee will take us to South Asia on a journey to find light shining in darkness and persecuted believers singing because of Jesus!  Each video is approximately 1 hour long; this will be followed by a time of discussion and prayer for gospel-laborers supported by CBC and those around the world. This year’s AWANA Grand Prix is Wednesday, March 4th at 6:30 pm at CBC.

Will meet again on Sunday, February 8th  at 6:30 pm here at Calvary. Join us once a month as we watch a powerful video series titled “Dispatches from the Front”.  Through the eyes of narrator, Tim Keesee, you will get a glimpse into the life of missionaries around the world.
